Today was a day of letting go....clothes and
wraps for warmth at night, a bag for my camera equipment and for my laptop, an
armrest for a yoga technique I practice regularly, a book I wanted to
read...things that seem basic disappeared into the world of the unnecessary as
nature pared me down to less than basic.

The needed camera equipment I'm carrying took
priority over my warmth and my personal comfort as the priorities of the journey
emerged and I recognized the weight I had to be rid of.

Something else emerged today as well. An
affirmation of the supportiveness people naturally feel for two women embarking
on such a journey and the warmth and curiosity with which they receive the
message of AE and the experts when presented from this context.

One gentleman, a film technician from Boston who
was vacationing on Orcas Island had approached me with curiosity as I discarded
more weight outside a restaurant on the ferry ground. I explained what I was
doing and the reason for the trek and we discussed the message of the experts
and the film we are promoting 9/11: Explosive Evidence – Experts Speak Out. He
listened with care though the information seemed new to him.

Later I saw him once more on the ferry, walking
out with his son as the announcer's voice rang out over the intercom to exit the
ferry. He nodded and began to descend down the stairs he then returned  and came
over to me while I gathered the camera equipment together at my me a
warm hug and well wishes he melted my activist heart by telling me I'm a
beautiful person.

As he walked away I thought of how many people
through the years I've carried the message of 9/11 truth to...I think that's the
first response of it's kind I've ever received...a gentle closure to a long day
of letting go...and a sign that the way the message is carried can clearly affect the way
in which it is received.

I am ever amazed by how many people are still unaware of this information, some 10+ years afterwards! Not so hard, is it, to pull the wool over a nations eyes? You are so right, that the way the information is shared makes all the difference in how it is received. You will be planting so may seeds on this great journey!

You'll meet lots of good friendly folks and I pray few to zero of any other sort. May your miles be many each day, but more eventful, learning, endearing and inspiring rather than just accumulating distance. We're struggling to recover from the recession, if we find some revenue we'll remember you with a donation to your cause & journey. IF you have an email journal, please add my name. God Speed!! Don
